MODULAR DOCK SYSTEMS

Modular Dock systems can be equipped with all of the latest loading dock technology, such as Global Wheel-Lok vehicle restraints, FLEXIDOCK dock levellers, Eliminator-GapMaster soft-sided dock shelters, light communication systems, etc.

Modular Dock System

Rapidly changing dynamics in the warehouse and the increasing demand for floor space ask for a flexible and easy to customize solution. This model can be applied for almost any application and requires minimum construction work onsite to allow for installation with minimum interruption to your logistics operation. Customized angles to the building wall and common frame units for narrow center line door openings are available to optimize access and routing.
This Modular Dock system is constructed with heavy-duty side platforms (same capacity as dock leveller), a steel support cross beam for increased stability, zinc-plated tubular framing for side walls and roof, ISO side panels, ISO roof panels with decline and an integrated water drain.

ISO Modular Dock System
Model CVSI-S 1100
This model is specifically designed for a temperature controlled loading process. IGLU insulated dock levellers, ISO panels underneath the side platforms, a sectional in the building and one in the Modular Dock system and thick ISO panels for side walls and roof ensure a high insulation capacity. Customized angles to the building wall and common frame units for narrow center line door openings are available to optimize access and routing.
The design includes heavy-duty side platforms (same capacity as dock leveller), a steel support cross beam for increased stability, zinc-plated tubular framing for side walls and roof, ISO side panels, ISO roof panels with decline and an integrated water drain. Typically the entire steel construction is zinc-plated for these applications.

Modular Dock System
Model CVSS-S 1000 with "Step Down" Design
This design offers all the advantages of a Modular Dock system plus the additional feature of the "Step Down" concept. For security reasons many companies seal (with lead) their vehicles when goods are transported between two warehouses. Opening and closing the rear doors of the vehicle after they are parked at the loading dock is an important work-and-time saving alternative.
With a standard design, the vehicle rear doors have to be unsealed before approaching the loading dock. After completion of the loading operation, the vehicle has to move forward a few metres before the rear doors can be closed and sealed again. This procedure is affected by weather conditions and therefore more likely to be „forgotten“ from time to time by truck drivers and dock personnel.
Modular Dock systems with a “Step Down” design allow a comfortable, easy and time saving “sealing” procedure while the vehicle is parked.

ISO Modular Dock System

This design offers all the advantages of ISO Modular Dock systems plus the additional feature of the "Step Down" concept. Refrigerated vehicles are not allowed to open their rear doors before they are parked at the loading dock and before the loading operations starts as this would interrupt the cold chain.
With a standard design, the vehicle rear doors have to be opened before approaching the loading dock. After completion of the loading operation, the vehicle has to move forward a few metres before the rear doors can be closed again.
Modular Dock systems with a “Step Down” design allow vehicles to open and close their rear doors while parked, ensuring an uninterrupted cold chain.

Modular Steel Platform

Modular Steel platforms are applied when a new loading dock with all of the latest loading dock technology needs to be created and optimum environmental control is not of high importance. These steel platforms can be designed based on your current site conditions and at the same time to meet the requirements of your logistics operation.
The design includes heavy-duty side platforms (same capacity as dock leveller) and a steel support cross beam for increased stability. Drive ramps to accommodate height differences (low or no loading dock) can be applied as well as different angles, common frames, protective railing, etc.
